Van Alstyne celebrates it's 7th Annual Fall der All this weekend, produced by the Van Alstyne Chamber of Commerce.
With all the traditional elements of a great festival including music, food, vendors and a car show, Fall der All owns something unique. Fall der All hosts a Scarecrow Parade.
For weeks leading up to Fall der All, the community of Van Alstyne begin to decorate their homes and businesses with one of a kind scarecrows. Event organizers throughout the years have been featured with the Van Alstyne scarecrows in multiple print stories and on Good Morning Texas. The media community instantly fell in love with the unique personalities of the scarecrows and their creators and have followed the growing interest and participation. Fun scarecrows doing cartwheels and climbing poles are featured at the entrances from Hwy. 75 to Van Alstyne. Keep Van Alstyne Beautiful is responsible for the creative welcome committee, as well as several scarecrows throughout downtown.
This year's parade grew sizably and included dancers, scarecrow cheerleaders, car enthusiasts, sponsored vehicles and the grand finale was the handsome camel and handlers featured in the photo.
Hats off to the Van Alstyne Chamber of Commerce. Your Fall der All festival over delivered and keeps Van Alstyne at the top of the list for family fun.
