Van Alstyne To Host Trick or Treat Events

Families in the Van Alstyne area will be treated to multiple opportunities to Trick or Treat on Saturday, Oct. 26.

The Van Alstyne Chamber of Commerce and Downtown Merchants will host Trick or Treating around the historic downtown area from 5 -7 PM.  "Wear your favorite costume for a night of spooktacular fun!  Stop by all your favorite Downtown Van Alstyne businesses for treats.  This is a FREE event," according to the Chamber of Commerce posters.

The First Christian Church of Van Alstyne, just off the downtown area at 274 Waco Street, is hosting a Trunk or Treat event, also from 5 -7 PM.  This event is also free, and the church is inviting all to enjoy soup and chili in their fellowship hall.

First Baptist Church of Van Alstyne will be handing out candy and free hot dogs in the Family Life Center.  They are located in the downtown area @ 121 E Marshall Street.

What to bring: One canned food item per child participating (or $1 per participating person)
What to wear: Your Halloween Costume!
What you'll receive: One social media file of your adorable kiddo in their Halloween Costume on our Spooky Moonlit Pathway Backdrop

When to show up: Anytime between 4pm - 7pm, Saturday, October 26th

Canned food items will be donated to the Four Corners Alliance Food Pantry serving residents of Collin, Grayson, Hunt & Fannin Counties

The First United Methodist Church, also off the downtown area at 303 S Preston, is hosting their annual Trunk or Treat from 5 - 7.  The FUMC Trunk or Treat is also free.
